About Our Company

McShan Florist, a beloved flower shop serving Dallas since 1948, holds an impressive legacy spanning seven decades. Throughout our journey, we have been fortunate to cultivate numerous friendships, inspire dedicated employees, and earn the trust and loyalty of countless customers. Bruce A. McShan, President

 

With a lifetime commitment to the florist industry, Bruce A. McShan joined the family business full-time following graduation from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1970. His numerous floral and civic activities, past and present, include: president of MAS Direct Network, Lifetime membership with the Texas State Florists’ Association, a Retail Director with TSFA, FTD National Convention Chairman and District Chairman of 9-E and 9-G&H. Bruce is also an FTD Lifetime Member Achievement Award recipient, he served on the FTD Systems Operations and Development Committee, TSFA Finance and Building Committee, Kiwanis Club of White Rock Board of Directors and Kiwanian of the Year, Board of Angels, Inc., Board of Directors with the Dallas Summer Musicals, Advisory Board of the White Rock YMCA, State of Texas Agriculture Board, and past president of the U.S. Marshals Posse of Texas. Bruce is also affiliated with the Dallas Scottish Rite Bodies, the Dallas York Rite Bodies, and the Hella Shrine Temple of Dallas.



Jodi McShan, Vice President

 

As a third-generation McShan, Jodi proudly joins the ranks of her father and grandfather making a name for herself both at McShan Florist and her private law practice. She holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt, a J.D. from San Diego School of Law, and an L.L.M. from the University of London. Jodi is active in the Dallas community and has served on the boards of the Junior League of Dallas, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and Dallas Women Lawyers. Jodi is also a Leadership Dallas graduate and has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters and named on the lists for “Best in Big D” and “Best Lawyers Under 40" by D Magazine. In addition to being licensed in the State of Texas, Jodi is eligible to practice before the United States Supreme Court and is board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. From filling water picks for a dollar an hour to being certified by the American Academy of Floriculture and named a Texas Master Florist, Jodi is active in the Society of American Florists and Texas State Florists’ Association - writing for the TSFA TEXAS in Bloom magazine and serving as a retail director for TSFA. Jodi has shared her floral talent by speaking on floral design and the industry as a whole to both consumers and industry professionals.

Delivery Policy

A local delivery fee of $19.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 1:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Holiday Deliveries
To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
