According to a study from Kansas State University by Dr. Richard
Mattson, hospitalized patients who had flowers or fresh greenery nearby
“felt less stressed and more relaxed.”  The author notes that those feelings
might even help boost the immune system.  And for patients recovering
from surgery, Mattson’s study found that “patients with flowers in their rooms
felt 25% less pain than those who didn’t.”

   Now that’s some pretty powerful research.  So next time you want to show
